G-2 grade coal fails to attract bid at April e-auction

May 6: G-2 grade coal (GCV ranging from 6,701-7,000 Kcal/Kg) offered by BCCL of Coal India Limited (CIL) for allotment on the e-auction platform of coaljunction during April 2014 met with poor demand as the entire offering of 9,000 tons failed to attract any bid during the month.
However, in March 2014, G-2 grade coal met with very strong demand as the entire offering of 8,250 tons got allotted during the month.
During February 2014, G-2 grade coal offered by NEC of CIL for allotment on the e-auction platform of coaljunction failed to attract any bid.
