G-2 grade coal sees very strong demand in March e-auction

April 2: G-2 grade coal (GCV ranging from 6,701-7,000 Kcal/Kg) offered by NECL of Coal India Limited (CIL) for allotment on the e-auction platform of coaljunction during March 2014 met with very strong demand as the entire offering of 8,250 tons got allotted.
However, in February 2014, G-2 grade coal offered by NECL for allotment on the e-auction platform of coaljunction failed to attract any bid.
During January, no such coal was offered for allotment.
