G-2 grade fails to attract bid in May e-auction

June 24: No demand was witnessed for 9,000 tons of G-2 grade coal (GCV between 6,701 and 7,000 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC during May 2014, according to information available with ICMW.
However, a strong demand was witnessed for 11,000 tons of G-2 grade coal offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC during April 2014 as the entire quantity got allotted during the month at a weighted average price of Rs 4,930 per ton.
On the other hand, no demand was witnessed for 20,750 tons of G-2 grade coal offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC during March 2014.
