October 31: Strong demand was witnessed for G-3 grade (GCV ranging from 6,401-6,700 Kcal/Kg) coal offered for allotment via the MSTC e-auction platform during the month of September as the entire offered quantity of 15,620 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 6,777 per ton.
However, during August, this grade was not offered.
In July, on the other hand, there was strong demand for G-3 grade as the entire offered quantity of 670 tons got allotted during the month at a weighted average price of Rs 4,553 per ton.
