March 4: G4 grade coal (GCV range 6,100 Kcal/kg to 6,400 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in February 2014 met with good demand as out of 337,530 tons offered, 294,982 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,842/ton.
In January 2014, G-4 grade coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction met with good demand as out of 130,830 tons of coal offered, 100,746 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,859/ton.
However, G4 grade coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in December met with moderate demand as out of 153,640 tons of coal offered, 144,017 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,157/ton.
