New UserG-4 grade coal sees good demand in Jan e-auction

February 24: Out of 107,330 tons of G-4 grade (GCV between 6,101 and 6,400 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CCL and SECL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in January 2014, 101,530 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,752 per ton.
However, out of 56,250 tons of G-4 grade coal offered by CCL and ECL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in December 2013, 39,140 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,400 per ton.
On the other hand, in November, however, out of 42,210 tons of G-4 grade coal offered by CCL and ECL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC, 38,580 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,654 per ton.
