April 2: G4 grade coal (GCV range 6,100 Kcal/kg to 6,400 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in March 2014 met with good demand as out of 50,596 tons offered, 47,181 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,298/ton.
In February 2014, G-4 grade coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction met with good demand as out of 337,530 tons offered, 294,982 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,842/ton.
However, in January 2014, G-4 grade coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction met with good demand as out of 130,830 tons offered, 100,746 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,859/ton.
