New UserG-4 grade coal sees strong demand in April e-auction

May 28: Out of 98,110 tons of G-4 grade (GCV of 6,101-6,400 Kcal/kg) coal offered by ECL, CCL and SECL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in April 2014, 98,040 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,225 per ton.
However, out of 89,276 tons of G-4 grade coal offered by ECL, CCL and SECL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in March 2014, 67,894 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,808 per ton.
On the other hand, out of 53,864 tons of G-4 grade coal offered by CCL and SECL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in February 2014, 53,784 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,551 per ton.
