New UserG-4 grade coal sees very strong demand in May e-auction

June 24: The entire quantity of 26,270 tons of G-4 grade (GCV of 6,101-6,400 Kcal/kg) coal offered by ECL and CCL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in May 2014, got allotted during the month at a weighted average price of Rs 4,671 per ton.
However, out of 98,110 tons of G-4 grade coal offered by ECL, CCL and SECL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in April 2014, 98,040 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,225 per ton.
On the other hand, out of 89,276 tons of G-4 grade coal offered by ECL, CCL and SECL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in March 2014, 67,894 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,808 per ton.
