April 3: There was good demand for G-6 grade coal (GCV range 5,501-5,800 Kcal/kg) on the coaljunction e-auction platform in March, with as much as 73.21% of the offered quantity getting allotted.
During March, out of 291,110 tons of G-6 grade coal offered, 213,120 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,023/ton.
However, in February, out of 309,880 tons of G-6 grade coal offered, 261,830 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,814/ton.
In January, out of 276,750 tons of G-6 grade offered, 199,558 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,991/ton.
