New UserG-9 grade coal sees average demand in June e-auction

July 30: There was average demand for G-9 grade (GCV 4,601 to 4,900 Kcal/kg) coal offered through the MSTC platform in June 2014 by WCL and CCL, as out of the 200,270 tons offered, 171,750 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,801 per ton.
In May too, there was fair demand for this grade of coal offered through this platform by WCL, as out of the 304,000 tons offered, 279,840 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,849 per ton.
Good demand was also seen for the same grade of coal offered through the MSTC platform in April 2014 by CCL and WCL, as out of the 200,000 tons offered, 155,450 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,986 per ton.
Similarly, for G-9 grade coal offered through the MSTC platform in March 2014 by CCL and WCL, out of the 227,800 tons offered, 217,470 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,113 per ton.
