New UserG-9 grade coal sees fair demand in May e-auction

June 25: There was a fair demand for G-9 grade (GCV 4,601 to 4,900 Kcal/kg) coal offered through the MSTC platform in May 2014 by WCL, as out of the 304,000 tons offered, 279,840 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,849 per ton.
A good demand was also seen for the same grade coal offered through the MSTC platform in April 2014 by CCL and WCL, as out of the 200,000 tons offered, 155,450 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,986 per ton.
Similarly, for G-9 grade coal offered through the MSTC platform in March 2014 by CCL and WCL, out of the 227,800 tons offered, 217,470 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,113 per ton.
