May 28: There was good demand for G-9 grade (GCV 4,601 to 4,900 Kcal/kg) coal offered through the MSTC platform in April 2014 by CCL and WCL, as out of the 200,000 tons offered, 155,450 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,986 per ton.
However, there was good demand for G-9 grade (GCV 4,601 to 4,900 Kcal/kg) coal offered through the MSTC platform in March 2014 by CCL and WCL, as out of the 227,800 tons offered, 217,470 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,113 per ton.
On the other hand, there was poor demand for G-9 grade coal offered through the MSTC platform in February 2014 by CCL and WCL, as out of the 288,250 tons offered, 80,040 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,225 per ton.
