G1, G2 grades not offered in December e-auction

January 6: G1 and G2 grades of coal were not offered for allotment by CIL on the e-auction platform of coaljunction during the month of December 2014, as per information available with ICMW.

However, in November 2014, very high demand was witnessed for G1 grade coal offered by NEC of CIL on this platform as the entire offered quantity of 21,750 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 7,092 per ton.

On the other hand, G2 grade of coal was not offered for allotment via e-auction on the coaljunction platform during the month of November 2014.
