New UserG11 grade coal sees good demand in January e-auction

February 6: Good demand was witnessed for G11 grade coal (GCV range 4,001 and 4,300 Kcal/kg) during January as out of 515,500 tons offered by two subsidiaries of CIL, 505,480 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,826/ton.
However, during December, out of 1,230,000 tons offered by three subsidiaries of CIL, 1,068,980 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,443/ton.
In November, good demand was witnessed for G11 grade coal as out of 1,255,000 tons offered by three subsidiaries of CIL, 986,030 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,505/ton.
