November 23: Very strong demand was witnessed in October 2015 for G11 grade (GCV 4,001 to 4,300 Kcal/kg) coal as out of the entire offered quantity of 740,000 tons on the MSTC platform by CIL subsidiaries, 723,110 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,572 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of demand was witnessed in September 2015 for G11 grade coal as the entire offered quantity of 480,000 tons on the MSTC platform by CIL subsidiaries got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,615 per ton.
Strong demand was witnessed in August 2015 too for G11 grade coal as out of the entire offered quantity of 80,000 tons on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries, 68,670 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,250 per ton.
