January 7: Very strong demand was witnessed for G11 grade coal (GCV range 4,001 and 4,300 Kcal/kg) in December 2014 on coaljunction’s e-auction platform as out of the offered quantity of 600,000 tons of coal, 446,940 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,141/ton.
In fact, a very strong demand was witnessed for G11 grade coal in November 2014 on this platform as the entire offered quantity of 170,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,144/ton.
In fact, a very strong demand was also witnessed for this grade in October 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 75,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,583/ton.
