February 5: Very strong demand was witnessed for G12 grade coal (GCV range 3,701 and 4,000 Kcal/kg) in January 2015 on coaljunction’s e-auction platform as the entire offered quantity of 611,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,224/ton.
A similar demand was witnessed for this grade in December 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 620,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,522/ton.
Same type of demand was also seen for this grade in November as the entire offered quantity of 480,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,764/ton.
