April 07: A strong demand was witnessed for G13 grade coal (GCV 3,401 and 3,700 Kcal/kg) in the e-auctions conducted on coaljunction’s platform in March as the entire offered quantity of 296,250 tons got allotted at weighted average price of Rs 1,663 per ton.
In February also, a strong demand was witnessed for this grade of coal on the same platform as the entire offered quantity of 2,96,250 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,532/ton.
G13 grade of coal was not offered on coal junction platform in January 2015.
