April 28: A very strong demand was witnessed in March 2015 for G13 grade (GCV 3,401 to 3,700 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries as the entire offered quantity of 540,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,366 per ton.
Similar kind of demand was witnessed in February 2015 for G13 grade as the entire offered quantity of 510,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,389 per ton.
A more or less good demand was witnessed in January 2015 for G13 grade as out of the entire offered quantity of 835,750 tons, 740,880 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,573 per ton.
However, a very strong demand was witnessed in December for G13 grade as the entire offered quantity of 480,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,439 per ton.
On the other hand, during November, this grade was not offered for allotment via this platform.
