G2 grade sees poor demand in Feb on coaljunction

There was poor demand for G2 (GCV between 6,700 and 7,000 Kcal/kg) grade in February 2016 on coaljunction as out of the offered quantity of 40,000 tons, merely 1,580 tons were allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,870 per ton, according to data available with ICMW.
There was nil demand for G2 in January 2016 on coaljunction as there was no bid for the offered quantity of 1,000 tons.
Meanwhile, there was poor demand for G2 in December 2015 on coaljunction as out of the offered quantity of 51,000 tons by ECL and North Eastern Coalfields (NEC), only a small volume of 4,160 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,873 per ton.
