G2 grade sees poor demand in March on other platform

Poor demand was witnessed for G2 grade (GCV ranging from 6,701-7,000 Kcal/Kg) coal offered by CIL for allotment through MSTC in March 2016 as out of 40,000 tons offered, only 2,780 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,870 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
However, no demand was witnessed for G2 grade coal offered by CIL for allotment through MSTC in February 2016 as out of the entire offerings of 960 tons, there was no allotment.
Poor demand was witnessed for G2 grade offered by CIL for allotment through MSTC in January 2016 as out of the entire offerings of 53,000 tons, 7,010 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,488 per ton.
