G3 grade coal not offered in Sept e-auction

October 9: No G3 grade coal was offered for allotment by CIL on the e-auction platform during September 2014. However, there was high demand for this grade  (GCV ranging between 6,400 Kcal/kg and 6,700 Kcal/kg) on the e-auction platform of coaljunction in August 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 15,400 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 6,002/ton.

On the other hand, there was moderate demand for G3 grade on coaljunction in July 2014 as 4,550 tons of the offered quantity of 8,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,516/ton.
