January 29: A fair demand was witnessed for G3 grade (GCV ranging from 6,401-6,700 Kcal/Kg) coal offered for allotment via the MSTC e-auction platform during the month of December as out of the entire offered quantity of 75,310 tons of coal, 62,610 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,683 per ton.
However, a strong demand was witnessed for this grade of coal offered for allotment during the month of November as out of the entire offered quantity of 36,500 tons, 36,460 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 6,174 per ton.
Similar strong demand was witnessed for G3 grade during October as the entire offered quantity of 250 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 6,316 per ton.
