February 4: G3 grade coal (GCV ranging from 6,400 Kcal/kg to 6,700 Kcal/kg) met with fair demand on the e-auction platform of coaljunction in January 2014 as out of the entire offered quantity of 53,500 tons, 41,100 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,593/ton.
However, G3 grade met with high demand on December 2014 as out of the entire offered quantity of 11,000 tons, 10,990 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 6,110/ton.
Similarly, G3 grade coal met with strong demand on this platform in November 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 6,700 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 7,792/ton.
