November 4: G3 grade coal (GCV ranging from 6,400 Kcal/kg to 6,700 Kcal/kg) met with strong demand on the e-auction platform of coaljunction in October 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 31,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 6,697/ton.
However, no G3 grade coal was offered for allotment by CIL on the e-auction platform during September 2014.
In August 2014, the entire offered quantity of 15,400 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 6,002/ton.
