September 4: G4 grade coal (GCV range 6,100 Kcal/kg to 6,400 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in August met with poor demand, as only 16.87% of the offered quantity was allotted.
In August, total offered quantity stood at 352,118 tons out of which 59,396 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4748/ton
However, in July, total offered quantity stood at 445,760 tons out of which 322,704 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,693 per ton
