December 23: Fair demand was noticed for G4 grade (GCV of 6,101-6,400 Kcal/kg) coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in November 2015, as out of the entire offered quantity of 215,718 tons, only 101,450 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,495 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Meanwhile, poor demand was noticed for G4 grade coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in October 2015, as out of the entire offered quantity of 50,768 tons, only 12,830 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,128 per ton.
However, very poor demand was noticed for G4 grade offered for allotment through MSTC in September 2015, as out of the entire offered quantity of 1,918,810 tons, only 2,850 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,066 per ton.
