January 3: G4 grade coal (GCV range 6,100 Kcal/kg to 6,400 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in December met with good demand as out of 153,640 tons of coal offered, 144,017 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,157/ton.
In November 2013, G4 grade coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in November met with moderate demand as out of 301,110 tons offered, 193,501 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,659/ton
However, G4 grade coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in October met with moderate demand as out of 415,626 tons offered, 287,099 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,131/ton.
