New UserG4 grade coal sees good demand in Feb e-auction

Good demand was noticed for G4 grade (GCV of 6,101-6,400 Kcal/kg) coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in February 2016, as out of the entire offered quantity of 378,362 tons, 152,258 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,806 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Fair demand was noticed for G4 grade coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in January 2016, as out of the entire offered quantity of 483,842 tons, 157,110 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,814 per ton.
However, poor demand was noticed for G4 grade offered for allotment through MSTC in December 2015, as out of the entire offered quantity of 480,992 tons, only 42,810 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,531 per ton.
