February 5: G4 grade coal (GCV range 6,100 Kcal/kg to 6,400 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in January 2014 met with good demand as out of 130,830 tons offered, 100,746 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,859/ton.
In December 2013, G4 grade coal offered for allotment through this platform met with good demand as out of 153,640 tons offered, 144,017 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,157/ton.
However, G4 grade coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in November met with moderate demand as out of 301,110 tons offered, 193,501 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,659/ton.
