July 7: G4 grade coal (GCV range 6,100 Kcal/kg to 6,400 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in June 2014 met with good demand as out of 25,110 tons offered, 24,750 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 5,015/ton.
In May, G4 grade coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction also met with good demand as out of 118,328 tons offered, 98,445 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,006/ton.
This same grade of coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in April 2014 witnessed a fair demand as out of 51,600 tons offered, 45,570 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,692/ton.
