June 4: G4 grade coal (GCV range 6,100 Kcal/kg to 6,400 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in May 2014 met with good demand as out of 118,328 tons offered, 98,445 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,006/ton.
This same grade of coal offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in April 2014 also met with similar demand as out of 51,600 tons offered, 45,570 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,692/ton.
In March 2014, out of 50,596 tons of G-4 grade offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction, 47,181 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,298/ton.
