October 7: G4 grade coal (GCV range 6,100 Kcal/kg to 6,400 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in September met with good demand as out of 430,270 tons offered, 413,270 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,623/ton.
In August, G4 grade coal offered met with poor demand, as only 16.87% of the offered quantity was allotted. The total offered quantity stood at 352,118 tons out of which 59,396 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,748/ton.
However, in July, total offered quantity stood at 445,760 tons out of which 322,704 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,693/ton.
