November 6: G4 grade coal (GCV range 6100 Kcal/kg to 6400 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment through e-auction platform of coaljunction in October met with moderate demand as out of 415,626 tons of coal offered, 287,099 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,131/ton.
In September, G4 grade coal offered met with good demand as out of 430,270 tons of coal offered, 413,270 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3623/ton.
However, in August, G4 grade coal offered met with poor demand, as only 16.87% of the offered quantity was allotted. The total offered quantity stood at 352,118 tons out of which 59,396 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,748/ton.
