New UserG6 grade coal sees excellent demand in August e-auction

September 3: There was excellent demand for G6 grade coal (GCV range 5,501-5,800 Kcal/kg) on the coaljunction e-auction platform in August 2014, as the entire offered quantity of 46,700 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,246/ton.
Similar high demand for the same grade was observed in July 2014 as well, as the entire offered quantity of 81,290 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,143/ton.
In June too, strong demand for G6 grade on the same e-auction platform was witnessed with as much as 99.87% of the offered quantity getting allotted. In June 2014, out of 75,250 tons offered, 75,150 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,712 per ton.
