New UserG6 grade realisations rise in March e-auction

April 07: An extension of previous month’s trend was witnessed in the auction of G6 grade (GCV range 5,501-5,800 Kcal/kg) coal on coaljunction platform in March as nearly the entire offering of 58,550 tons was allotted at average weighted price of Rs 3448 per ton.
In February also, a strong demand was witnessed for this grade coal as the entire offered quantity of 59,440 tons of coal got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,013/ton.
Similarly, very strong demand was witnessed for G6 grade coal offered by CIL’s subsidiaries on coaljunction’s e-auction platform in January 2015, as the entire offered quantity of 134,940 tons of coal got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,445/ton.
