November 5: High demand was witnessed for G6 grade coal (GCV range 5,501-5,800 Kcal/kg) offered by CIL’s subsidiaries on coaljunction’s e-auction platform in October 2014, as out of the offered quantity of 111,220 tons, 111,157 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,396/ton.
In fact, excellent demand was seen for G6 grade in September 2014, as the entire offered quantity of 15,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,047/ton.
There was also excellent demand for the grade on coaljunction in August 2014, as the entire offered quantity of 46,700 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,246/ton.
