New UserG6 grade sees very strong demand in December e-auction

January 7: Very strong demand was witnessed for G6 grade coal (GCV range 5,501-5,800 Kcal/kg) offered by CIL’s subsidiaries on coaljunction’s e-auction platform in December 2014, as the entire offered quantity of 94,700 tons of coal got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,766/ton.
Similar high demand was witnessed for G6 grade in November 2014 as well, as out of the offered quantity of 107,570 tons, 107,530 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,315/ton.
In October, out of 111,220 tons of G6 coal offered by CIL’s subsidiaries, 111,157 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,396/ton.
