September 4: G7 grade coal (GCV range 5,200-5,500 Kcal/kg) met with good demand at the coaljunction platform in August as 92.82%, or 89,850 tons of the offered quantity of 96,800 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,937 per ton.
However, in July as 74.54%, or 75,430 tons of the offered quantity of 101,200 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,745 per ton.
