G9 grade coal sees moderate demand in Oct e-auction

November 23: Moderate demand was witnessed for the 100,300 tons of G9 grade (GCV 4,601 to 4,900 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries through the MSTC platform in October 2015 as out of this entire offered quantity, 32,940 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,575 per ton, as per data available with ICMW
Similar kind of demand was witnessed for the 300,000 tons of G9 grade coal offered by CIL subsidiaries through MSTC in September 2015 as out of this entire offered quantity, 210,140 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,636 per ton.
However, good demand was witnessed for the 62,545 tons of G9 grade coal offered by CIL subsidiaries through MSTC in August 2015 as out of this entire offered quantity, 40,800 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,625 per ton.
