November 6: G9 grade coal (GCV ranging between 4,601-4,900 kCal/kg) offered at the coaljunction platform in October met with moderate demand as out of a total offered quantity of 362,650 tons of coal, 294,720 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,214/ton.
In September, offerings met with moderate demand as out of a total offered quantity of 147,500 tons of coal, 126,050 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,877/ton.
However, in August, good demand was witnessed for G9 grade of coal as 89.57% or 148,600 tons of the total offered quantity of 165,900 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,199/ton.
