December 4: G9 grade coal (GCV ranging between 4,601-4,900 kCal/kg) offered at the coaljunction platform in November met with poor demand as out of a total offered quantity of 816,000 tons of coal, 349,170 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,089/ton.
However, in October, G9 grade coal offered at the coaljunction platform met with moderate demand as out of a total offered quantity of 362,650 tons of coal, 294,720 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,214/ton.
In September, offerings met with moderate demand as out of a total offered quantity of 147,500 tons of coal, 126,050 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,877/ton.
