March 6: G9 grade coal (GCV ranging between 4,601-4,900 Kcal/kg) offered on the coaljunction platform in February met with strong demand as out of a total offered quantity of 638,300 tons, 622,300 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,161/ton.
In January, the offering met with poor demand as out of a total offered quantity of 598,800 tons, only 142,700 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,144/ton.
However, in December, the offered quantity met with moderate demand as out of a total offered quantity of 649,900 tons, 432,880 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,639/ton.
