Poor demand was witnessed in the e-auction of G9 grade coal (GCV ranging between 4,601-4,900 Kcal/kg) on coaljunction in February 2016 as out of the entire offering of 508,090 tons by CCL and WCL, only 14,880 tons were allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,789 per ton, according to data available with ICMW
Similar kind of poor demand was witnessed in the e-auction of G9 grade coal on coaljunction in January 2016 as out of the entire offering of 155,000 tons by CCL, only 9,660 tons were allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,572 per ton.
Likewise, poor demand was witnessed in the e-auction of G9 grade on coaljunction in December 2015 as out of the entire offering of 245,000 tons by CCL and WCL, only 14,400 tons were allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,827 per ton.
