October 10: G9 grade coal (GCV ranging between 4,601-4,900 Kcal/kg) offered on the coaljunction e-auction platform in September 2014 met with strong demand as out of the offered quantity of 32,600 tons, 32,400 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,236/ton.
The same grade offered in August 2014 also met with very strong demand as the entire offered quantity of 68,370 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,402/ton.
This grade offered in July 2014 had also met with very strong demand as the entire offered quantity of 15,140 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,292/ton.
