Imports of pet coke via Gangavaram Port stood at 40,547 tons in February 2016, sharply down 60.41% month-on-month compared to 102,405 tons imported in January 2016, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
For the first 11 months (April-February) of the current fiscal (2015-16), pet coke imports via Gangavaram Port stood at 483,813 tons against 961,513 tons imported in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

In February 2016, a volume of 15,556 tons came in from China at a price of Rs 15,531 ($225) per ton and 124,991 tons from the US at a price range of Rs 3,237-Rs 4,393 ($47-$64) per ton.
In January 2016, a volume of 21,950 tons came in from China at a price of Rs 17,262 ($256) per ton and 80,455 tons from the US at a price range of Rs 3,938-Rs 4,329 ($59-$64) per ton.
