Gangavaram’s Feb gypsum imports rise 20% m-o-m

Imports of gypsum via Gangavaram Port stood at 30,000 tons in February 2016, up 20% month-on-month compared to 25,000 tons imported in January 2016, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
For the first 11 months (April-February) of the current fiscal (2015-16), gypsum imports via Gangavaram Port stood at 55,000 tons while 152,702 tons had been imported in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

In February 2016, the entire volume of 30,000 tons came in from UAE at a unit price of Rs 1,171 ($17).
In January 2016, the entire volume of 25,000 tons came in from UAE at a unit price of Rs 1,141 ($17).
