November 12: Imports of limestone via Gangavaram Port stood at 50,387 tons in October 2015, up 5.14% compared to 47,925 tons imported in September 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
For the first seven months (April-October) of the current fiscal (2015-16), limestone imports via Gangavaram Port stood at 606,097 tons against 355,841 tons in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

During October, the entire material came in from the UAE at a price of Rs 1,133 ($17) per ton.
In September, the entire material came from the UAE too but at a price of Rs 1,126 ($17) per ton.
