November 12: Imports of pet coke via Gangavaram Port stood at 126,025 tons in October 2015, sharply up 75.62% compared to 71,760 tons imported in September 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
For the first seven months (April-October) of the current fiscal (2015-16), pet coke imports via Gangavaram Port stood at 297,861 tons against 657,381 tons in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

In October 2015, a volume of 26,500 tons came from China at a price range of Rs 18,162-Rs 18,163 ($278) per ton and 99,525 tons came from the US at Rs 4,954-Rs 5,062 ($76-$77) per ton.
In September 2015, a volume of 17,099 tons came from China at a price range of Rs 19,360-Rs 19,361 ($290-$290) per ton and 54,661 tons came from Saudi Arabia at a price of Rs 4,504 ($69) per ton.
